Terms of service
Version of 2026-11-02
This document is BeBrief’s, a service published by Hive Horizon. If an agency invited you to BeBrief, it does not replace that agency’s own terms or privacy policy: to learn how the agency uses your data, ask the agency.
These terms govern the use of BeBrief, published by Hive Horizon. By creating a workspace, the agency accepts them on behalf of its organisation, together with the data processing agreement.
The service
One workspace per agency to collect its clients’ requests, produce briefs with an AI assistant, discuss and approve designs. Features and limits depend on the plan.
Accounts
The agency invites its members and clients and sets their access. Everyone keeps control of the email address they sign in with and reports any unauthorised use promptly.
People you invite
People the agency invites see BeBrief’s documents for what BeBrief processes itself. They do not replace the agency’s own: the agency alone remains responsible for informing its clients of how it uses their data, including its use of BeBrief.
Your content
The agency and its clients own what they upload and produce. They grant us only the right to host and process it to provide the service.
We do not read workspace content. Support can only open it with an owner’s permission, for a limited time.
Confidentiality and no conflict of interest
Hive Horizon also runs a creative studio. So that this activity never benefits from BeBrief, Hive Horizon undertakes, for itself, its officers, employees and contractors, and any company that controls it or that it controls:
- to keep workspace content and the identity of agencies’ clients strictly confidential: names, contact details, projects, briefs, files, prices and volumes;
- never to use that information for its own account, in particular for its creative work: no prospecting, commercial offers, market research or contact lists;
- not to solicit an agency’s client, directly or through anyone else, on the basis of information obtained through BeBrief;
- not to use that content to train an AI model or to design its own creative work or products;
- to limit support access to the duration and scope an agency owner authorises, to copy or keep nothing outside the workspace, and to record every access in a log the agency can read.
By design, the BeBrief team’s console shows an agency’s clients only as “Client”, with no name, email or domain. Their identity appears only during support access the agency has authorised.
These undertakings apply for the whole term of the contract and five years after it ends. Any breach entitles the agency to terminate immediately at no cost, and the limitation of liability below does not apply to it.
Acceptable use
- No unlawful content or content that infringes others’ rights.
- No attempt to bypass security or the isolation between agencies, or to overload the service.
- No sensitive data (health, opinions, etc.) unless needed.
AI assistant
The assistant’s suggestions can be wrong; a person reviews and approves them before they are sent or applied.
Availability
We do our best to keep the service available and backed up. Planned maintenance is announced in advance.
Pricing
Each plan’s price is shown before subscribing. Beyond a plan’s limits, a margin is allowed before anything is blocked.
Ending the contract and reversibility
The agency can export its whole workspace at any time (Settings → Privacy & data), then ask for it to be deleted. It then closes to everyone but its owners for 30 days and is deleted for good; backups are overwritten within 30 days.
Liability
Our liability is limited to direct, foreseeable damage, up to the amounts paid over the last twelve months, except in case of gross negligence, wilful misconduct or a breach of the confidentiality and no-conflict undertakings.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, the courts of the publisher’s registered office have jurisdiction.
Changes
Significant changes are announced at least 30 days ahead; agency owners accept them again in the app.
